With machines, as editor Giorgio Camuffo emphasises, «Children do not draw trees, houses, faces, animals, but they draw intersecting lines, coloured spirals, open, unfinished abstract figures, free to discover forms visible only with the eyes of their imagination».

The drawing machines described in this book are inexpensive objects, often made from recycled materials, designed not to teach children how to draw but to allow them to experiment, through play, with the more leisurely dimension of drawing and selfexpression. CamuffoLab took care of the graphic project of the volume published by Corraini Edizioni.
